The End is the Beginning

It’s been a really great 2.5 years writing this blog. I’ve learned so much in this time, had great conversations, and rediscovered my passion for the written word. I owe so much of that to those of you who have participated in this community!

The time has come to move on, however, as I change the majority of my business focus to personal development and small business consulting (no worries existing massage clients, I’m still doing that too!). It’s time for this blog to wind down while I focus on the new site and newsletter.

Fall Colors at the Botanic Garden

It’s time once again for “Everyday Adventures” where I embrace the possibility of adventure in my ordinary life. For this adventure, I took advantage of the beautiful weather and snuck off to the Chicago Botanic Garden. It’s only a 35 minute train ride from my neighborhood (well, the neighborhood north of mine), but I have never bothered to go by myself. Challenge accepted.

Autumn in the Prairie

Winnemac Park is one of my favorite parks in the city. The little patches of prairie are a peaceful oasis on the north side. I try to get there at least once a month.
